Roomies reunited (minus one...meg =( )

I finally made it out to LA! It was so much fun! It was awesome to finally see where my long lost roomies are living and what they do every day. As usual Jocelyn had a pretty fabulous itinerary planned for us, which I always love. A perfect vacation, filled with reminiscing about the college days over a glass (or a bottle) of wine, tandem bicycling, broadway plays, Jay Leno, sushi, hockey games, gymnastics meets, shopping, cupcakes, laying out in Laguna, and laughing til your stomach hurts...I miss you girls

Be the Change

I am officially at the bottom of Jocelyn's blog list, meaning I am at true slacker when it comes to this blogging thing. Yikes, christmas was the last attempt, not good. I will get better. Promise. It's this dinosaur of a computer that I am working with these days, (I kind of feel an attachment to it, it has been through a lot during our fabulous college years) I mean two hours just to turn the thing on, its not easy to document my life under these circumstances. ha Anyway, all is well here is the sunny low country of Summerville, SC. I will supply more pictures soon. I have started working night shifts at the hospital and now I'm all twist- turned upside down. I do like it though, gives you a lot more of a chance to get to know the doctors and other nurses better and we all know I love getting to know people. Seth and I will be taking a trip to Guatemala in June, with Faceless International. Faceless is an organization who together sees the potential that we have in making change in the world. The trips are organized with the desire to provide first-hand real world experiences of what is happening throughout the world and to educate people to see that we need to be the change that we want to see in the world. While there we will have the chance to work with the Hue-Hue ministries and learn about the importance of guaranteeing fair trade for the coffee growers. We also will be helping build a clinic to provide the necessary healthcare for the farmers and their families.

Our first tree

It was lots of fun decorating our first tree together. Even Diesel decided to help =)

Chris, Jen, & Cole Visit

O and we visited my hospital too.=)

On Thanksgiving, I had to work at the hospital. Everyone brought in a dish to share so we still had a nice feast. Seth woke up early that morning and went downtown with some of the kids from the church and served a wonderful thanksgiving meal to some families in need. Jerry and Cindy had Seth over later that day for a nice thanksgiving meal. I was able to grab a quick bite to eat there when I got off work and then I came home to have Chris, Jen and Cole arriving at our house, yaay! It was so great to see them. We took them downtown and it was fun. Then we went to the Christmas tree farm with them to pick out and cut down our very first Christmas tree. =)

Halloween

One of the doctors at work hosted a Halloween party at his house downtown Charleston. What a sweet house. It was a lot of fun. The theme was something along the line of...Madams and Monks, Tarts and Vicars, Darlings and Deacons...etc. Seth was Friar Tuck and well I was a Pirate.  P.S. Supergirl is Rose, my amazing preceptor I always talk about, love her.

Sarah's visit

I know sweet shades and hats!! =)

We went to the Rodeo in Monks Corner, it was a muddy night, but so fun! Steering and bull riding is way more exciting in the mud.

Julia and Stephen's Wedding

Joce, this one's for you. I promised I would post these for you like 5 months ago...better late than never I suppose.  It was a beautiful day!!!
