The Low Country

Its August, and its now been about 3 months that I have lived in the blessed state of South Carolina, with my wonderful husband. Married life is great. (But I do miss my roommates dearly) They call this place "The Low Country", where you can find no matter where you chose to eat, or what time of day, a scrumptious bowl of shrimp and grits. Whether its time for breakfast or dinner...and if they could get away with it, people would have it for dessert too. Unfortunately Seth and I are not exactly too keen on the idea of grits themselves, let alone with that little creature from the sea. What?!?! Something is just not right about that. Anyway, other than the staple food here, we are liking it quite nice. There is a beautiful park down the road from us which we love. And the town we live in is pretty cute. Every Saturday there is a farmers market just down the street from us as well. Its a neat cultural experience. Anyway, the low country is treating us good so far and who doesn't love all that sweet tea???
